The Government is set to resume its political lobbing work this month with the start of the party conference season in the United Kingdom. This allows the Gibraltar point of view to be relayed to a large number of UK politicians, parliamentarians and decision-makers gathered together in one location. This work will be carried out mainly by the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister, but other Ministers may also be called upon to assist depending on the nature of the event and on the demands of the wider political calendar.
Sir Joe Bossano, Minister for Social Security, will be participating in a panel at a conference in Leuven University, near Brussels.
A mural of Gustavo Bacarisas has been unveiled at Casemates as part of the Ministry of Culture’s efforts to commemorate the 150th Birthday of the artist. Gibraltar Cultural Services commissioned street artist Juup to produce this wonderful new mural at the entrance to the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery at Casemates.
