Jun 07 - London Marathon Mum Donates More Than £14,000 To Charity

A local mum-of-three who completed the London Marathon raised a whopping £14,000 for ASSERT UK and the Gibraltar Disability Society.

On Monday, Jane Tunbridge split the total of £14,422.28 between the two charities.

Jane chose to run the London Marathon with a friend Lisa Cutts to mark her son Sean’s 18^th birthday.

Sean is the only youngster in Gibraltar who has Angelman Syndrome and Jane wanted to do something raise awareness of the condition as well as raise money for the two chosen charities.

Jane said: “I want to thank everyone who supported, donated and helped me. I’ve been overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity.”
