Jan 09 - Fighting Battles With Fashion Charity Fashion Show Hailed A Success
More than 100 models took part in the Fighting Battles with Fashion charity fashion show that was held in the Ince’s Hall Theatre just before Christmas.
The show was held over two nights and on one night featured 12 Thai models and dresses from Thai designer Chirawan Lewis, and the following night with local designer Charlene Figueras’ new collection – OWL or Only Wear Love.
The show was organised and choreographed by No1 Models director Kelvin Hewitt, who directed models of all ages and levels, and put together routines featuring clothing from Flash Boutique, Heart Boutique and Purple Rain as well as make up from the Make Up Room by Anna Scott.
It took three months worth of rehearsals, but Mr Hewitt wanted to thank everyone who took part and who worked hard during that time, and especially everyone who made the show possible.
The money raised on the night will go towards GADS and Cancer Relief, with a total amount raised being announced by Mr Hewitt soon.
