June 10 - Gibraltar Charities Forum First Meeting
The Gibraltar Charities Forum will hold its first meeting on Thursday 27th June in the Charles Hunt Room in the John Mackintosh Hall at 6pm.
The aim of this Forum is to offer local registered charities a place to share, discuss and meet. There is an active closed Facebook page of the same name to enable prompt contact between charities.
The Forum has been set up by the founder of the Gibraltar Multiple Sclerosis Support Society to provide a place where charities can communicate and discuss any issues they wish to.
A spokesperson said: “Hopefully we can work together on similar issues and also learn more about what we each do. We can also pinpoint problems Charities and our members encounter and try to find solutions.”
Organisers would like to remind those wishing to attend that only charities will be accepted and to join the following are required:
- The charity’s name
- Your position on its committee
- The charity registration number.
