May 21 - Gibraltar College Raises Funds for Local Charities

The Staff and students at Gibraltar College participated in a 'charity day' 
on Monday 24 February 2014 in order to create awareness and promote the
importance of supporting our community and the less fortunate. With this 
in mind students from each level organised different events throughout the
 day. In addition there was also fund raising events at break time for the
 whole week.



Representatives from the different charities were present to collect their
 cheques which were handed over by a Pre-GCSE Foundation class as recognition
for their contribution and hard work in collecting a substantial amount of
 money on the day. A total of £2613 was raised for the Friends of Mount Alvernia, Pathway through Pain, Action 4 Schools and RICC.
