Aug 11 - Man Given Suspended Sentence For ABH

A 28-year-old man was sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months at the Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Earlier this year, Crislee Crome, of Laguna Estate, pleaded guilty to one count of racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm, in relation to an incident which took place in January 2016.

He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison for the offence, suspended for 12 months.

Thomas Hillman appeared for the defendant while Mark Clive Zammitt appeared on behalf of the Crown.
