Following its call for a much more visible police presence in Main Street, Casemates and other pedestrian areas a few months ago, the Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce welcomes the launch of Project Servator, a new scheme by the Royal Gibraltar Police designed to deter and disrupt criminal and terrorist activity in crowded places.

Commenting on the scheme Chamber President Christian Hernandez said: “We are delighted with the launch of Project Servator which will undoubtedly result in an even safer Gibraltar for the benefit of both residents and tourists alike. We would like to extend our sincerest congratulations to Commissioner of Police (Designate) Ian McGrail on his well-deserved appointment and look forward to working with him on Project Servator and other matters of common interest.”
