Jan 15 - Laguna Incident: RGP And Care Agency Intervene To Protect Child

In response to a video of an incident in Laguna Estate yesterday afternoon concerning a two year old child, which was widely shared on social media, the RGP in conjunction with the Care Agency, exercised their powers under the Children Act 2009 to remove the child from his mother into police protection.

The RGP says it is continuing its investigation into the case and urges the public to refrain from sharing the video in question.

It also requests any witnesses who may have any information about the incident to come forward and contact the RGP Control Room on 200 72500.
