Apr 04 - Man Accused Of Taking Drugs Into Prison

A Gibraltarian man will be appearing in the Magistrates Court tomorrow to answer to various charges of alleged possession of drugs and possession with intent to supply.

Clive Guerrero, aged 37, is an inmate at Windmill Hill Prison and has been charged with three counts of conveying a prohibited import into prison, two counts of possession of a class B drug, and a further two counts of possession with intent to supply a class B drug.

The drugs in question are 22.5 grammes of cannabis resin, seven grammes of amphetamines and 119 tablets of chlonazepam.

The alleged offence is believed to have occurred on March 26 2019.
