June 26 - Drugs Charge - Mena

A 23 year old local man was on Monday the 24th of June arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug.

Karl MENA of 39 White Wave House, Mid Harbours, aged 23, was arrested by officers of the Drug Squad on Monday the 24th of June 2013 following the execution of a search warrant at his residence. Various pieces of Cannabis Resin totalling 65 grams were seized.

Mena was subsequently charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug, approximately 65 grams of Cannabis Resin and bailed to appear in the Magistrates Court at 1000hrs the 25th of June 2013.

At his appearance in Court yesterday morning Mena pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £350.
