Apr 19 Firearms Charges
Officers investigating a report of a man carrying what appeared to be a firearm on Friday 12th April in Moorish Castle Estate have charged a local 31 year old man and a 24 year old local woman.
Andrew John Guy, aged 31, was charged with one count of possession of a firearm, one count of possession of ammunition, one count of possession of a prohibited weapon and two counts of possession of a controlled drug.
Sarah Da Palma Costa, aged 24, was charged with one count of possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both appeared at the Magistrates’ Court at 1000hrs the 18th of April, the case has been adjourned until the 9th of May.
EDIT: All charges against Sarah Da Palma Costa were later dropped.
