June 20 - Theft Conviction - Baldachino
A local man has today been fined one thousand pounds for theft of a local man’s Civilian Registration Card.
Twenty-two year old Darren Baldachino of 12 Constitution House, Glacis Estate was arrested in April of 2012 and subsequently answered to charges of possession of a controlled drug and theft in the Magistrates’ Court.
Baldachino pleaded guilty on the 6th of June 2013 to one charge of possession of a controlled drug, a small amount of Cannabis Resin, and three counts of theft: one of a Civilian Registration Card and two additional charges in relation to two mobile phones.
He was today sentenced with a fine of £1000 for the theft of the Civilian Registration Card. He received no separate penalty in respect of the other three charges.
