July 02 - Parking Restrictions For Polling Day
The following parking restrictions will apply in order to facilitate access to polling stations for the by-election on Thursday the 4th of July:
Parking of vehicles will not be permitted at the below listed locations as from 1700hrs (5pm) on Wednesday the 3rd July 2013 to 2300hrs (11pm) on Thursday the 4th July 2013:
Polling Station Parking Restrictions:
Laguna Youth Club: Parking area outside the youth club
St. Anne’s School; Bayside Road (north) outside the entrance to the school gates to its junction with Glacis Road
Plater Youth Club: Upper car park leading to the stairs by the youth club.
Bishop Fitzgerald School: Europort Avenue outside the school
Gibraltar Youth Centre: Line Wall Road by Montagu Bastion including entrance to the Youth Centre.
Senior Citizen’s Club:
a. Town Range parking area situated between the Senior Citizen’s Club and the old Buildings and Works depot.
b. Town Range outside the Senior Citizen’s Club from its junction with King’s Yard Lane to its junction with Victualling Office Lane.
c. Town Range opposite the Senior Citizen’s Club from its junction with King’s Yard Lane to its junction with Victualling Office Lane.
John Mackintosh Hall Complex:
Main Street outside the John Mackintosh Hall. Line Wall Road by the rear of John Mackintosh Hall and Convent Ramp.
Central Hall:
Parking area outside the Central Hall
Governor’s Meadow School:
Europort Avenue outside the school.
GASA Club House:
GASA clubhouse parking area
Brownies Hut:
No parking restrictions required
No parking will be allowed during the above stipulated times within the demarcated areas [red lines] at polling stations. In addition no cars or motorcycles will be allowed to wait within the demarcated area.
John Mackintosh Hall:
The parking of vehicles will not be permitted at the following locations as from 1700hrs (5pm) on Thursday 4th July 2013 until 0700hrs (7am) on Friday 5th July 2013 as demarcated by portable traffic signs:
Loading/unloading bay outside John Mackintosh Hall
Convent Ramp
Line Wall Road by the rear of John Mackintosh Hall
Line Wall Road by the south perimeter wall of Ince's Hall Theatre.
