Dec 15 - Gibraltarian Author M. G. Sanchez At The University Of Turin

Gibraltarian author M. G. Sanchez recently delivered a seminar presentation entitled ‘Gibraltarian Identity. An Evolving Discourse’ at the University of Turin.

The seminar took place at the university’s Department of Humanities on the 6th December and was attended by a selection of Italian university postgraduates.

Dr Esterino Adami, the Italian academic responsible for organising the event, explained: “At Turin we believe it is important that scholars and students frequently meet and discuss with authors from the broad English-speaking world. We felt that bringing M. G. Sanchez to our university would encourage our students to learn more about Gibraltar and also help them become acquainted with the issues of identity, belonging, language and power running through Sanchez’s fictional and non-fictional oeuvre.”

M. G. Sanchez’s latest book, Past: A Memoir, is currently available for purchase on Amazon.
