Jul 24 - Santos Productions Choir Perform for the Chief Minister
Following the success of the Santos Productions choir at the European Choir Games last weekend, the Chief Minister invited the group to No.6 Convent Place, in order to congratulate them.
The choir took the chance to perform a couple of the pieces that won them two gold medals, including Viva la Vida by Coldplay and Queen’s Somebody to Love.
The Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife and son and a number of No.6 Staff members enjoyed the renditions. During the meeting, Christian Santos announced the exciting news that the choir had been invited by the organisers of the European Choir Olympics to perform three shows in the New Year, in Budapest at the Royal Concert Hall.
Mr. Picardo insisted that he was extremely proud of the choir and urged them to keep up the good work.
