Aug 28 - Local Line-Up for Music Festival Main Stage Chosen as Voting Closes
For one week, seven local acts competed for three places on the Main Stage. Over 2800 votes were cast by the public; more than £1,400 will now be donated by Gibtelecom to the GBC Open Day as a result of the phone voting.
Hollie Buhagiar, This Side Up and Metro Motel are the three local acts that will perform on the Main Stage at the upcoming Gibraltar Music Festival. They'll share the stage with Emeli Sande, Olly Murs and Texas, among others, on the 7th of September.
The organisers of the Gibraltar Music Festival have thanked the public for helping to raise this money for charity and have said they hope many local music fans will be there to support Hollie, Metro Motel and This Side Up on Saturday the 7th of September; the three local acts will be the first to play on the Main Stage when the doors open at 12 midday.
