alignedGibraltarian author M.G. Sanchez has just released a new novel about Gibraltar. Stotesbury, adjunct Professor in Postcolonial Literatures from the University of Oulu, has already described the book as “fascinating and highly readable,” while Dr Esterino Adami, an English Literature Professor from the University of Turin, has praised how in the book M. G. Sanchez “brings to the fore a strong sense of Gibraltarian identity.”

Speaking about the book, the author stated that his main aim was to write an entertaining and readable novel that also explored both the matter of Gibraltarian identity and our frequently troublesome relationship with Spain. He says that there are parts of the novel which are “very apt” considering what has been happening in recent times.
