Nov 05 - Festival of Lights to Kick Off Christmas Season
Dubbed the ‘Festival of Lights’, both the Christmas Lights and Casemates Christmas Tree will be lit on Friday 22nd November 2013 at the John Mackintosh Square. The event is set to include musical entertainment, the traditional school choir, arts and crafts and an appearance by Santa Claus and his elves.
After the ceremony the lights will switch on every evening until the 6th January 2014. All members of the public are invited to the occasion.
