This year the Gibraltar music Festival will host four stages that will provide more that 13 hours of live entertainment. More and more local and Spain based bands have expressed interest in the festival, and an extensive line up of these acts has been released.
Further to this afternoons announcement on further international acts to perform at this year’s Gibraltar Music Festival, local band Jetstream, singer Jamie Chiappe, DJs Racs & Lima and reggae group Heritage have also joined the bill, which boasts a varied selection of artists from across the musical spectrum.
Gibraltar Music Festival organisers this afternoon announced the last leg of international performers to appear at the event on 6th September. The last of the line up includes soulful British songwriter Ella Eyre, who featured on Rudimental’s number 1 single ‘Waiting all Night’ and has since been propelled in the charts with her own single, ‘Deeper’.
As the progression of popular music develops and shifts into a new generation, Gibraltar based independent underground house music label, ‘Cliché’ are on to something special. Last weekend the Cliché family hosted an event celebrating their second birthday and the immense feedback they have received from a loyal and ever growing local fan base, unleashing tech house wizard Hector Couto on their decks at The Island in Ocean Village.
The Ministry of Culture is pleased to announce that they will hold a mini Jazz concert at Commonwealth Park at 9pm on Wednesday 13th of August. The New Orleans Jump Band will be playing popular jazz numbers from the bandstand. Entrance is free.
