YGTV, Gibraltar’s ever-popular news website, has reached an important milestone during the month of July. It is the first month that the site has registered over 100,000 page views making this yet another record-breaking 31 days for the news provider.
16-year-old Alaee Ziani will be meeting The Script on Saturday the 6th of September! She's the lucky winner of a competition run by the Gibraltar Music Festival, which saw thousands of entries online.
Last year the Gibraltar public chose Simon, Matt, Ricky, Guy & Philip of This Side Up to perform on the Main Stage at the Gibraltar Music Festival. This year, the festival’s organisers are keen to try out the same idea and are once again asking the public which local act would they most like to see on the Main Stage. This is billed as a “great opportunity” for performers to rub shoulders with global stars like The Script, Rita Ora and John Newman.
The Ministry of Culture is pleased to announce the details for this year’s National Week Yanito Comedy, which will be held from Monday 1st September to Friday 5th September.
This year’s National Week Classical Concert will be held on Monday 1st September 2014 at St Michael’s Cave at 9pm. The Gibraltar Philharmonic Society, who organises this concert on behalf of the Gibraltar Government have been able to acquire the services of solo guitarist José María Gallardo del Rey, conductor Dorian Willson and The European Symphony Orchestra.
