The Government has revealed plans for a new ‘National Theatre and Cultural Hub’ at the John Mackintosh Hall complex. This project has been billed as a “milestone for the cultural fraternity who had been promised a new theatre since the late 1990’s.”
The art exhibition “Westerly Winds, Vientos de Poniente” currently on show at the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery is the second part of the collaboration between the Gibraltar Cultural Services and La Diputación de Cádiz. The first part of this partnership called ‘Easterly Winds, Vientos de Levante’ saw a collection of artworks by multiple Gibraltarian artists being shown at the Palacio Provincial de la Diputación de Cádiz in 2019.

The Government and the Self-Determination for Gibraltar Group (SDGG) have agreed with regret that there should not be a “live” political rally at Casemates this National Day. The event will again take place virtually and on our television screens instead.
