    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

albert poggioYGTV attended the Gibraltar Day celebrations in London earlier this week. During the elegant reception we caught up with Gibraltar Government representative in the UK, Albert Poggio. Mr. Poggio delved into his position at Gibraltar House in London, why he believes the event is important and how the reception's 900 guests are chosen.

During the evening's events, the Pipes and Drums of the London Scottish Regiment performed a series of popular pieces during a massed band spectacular, in the Guildhall courtyard.
