Feb 20 - NHS Employers Link with GHA will Hugely Benefit Staff

gha The Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA) has entered into a formal agreement with the UK’s NHS Employers, which will allow it access to the various services provided by that organisation.

These services include access to publications which include guidance and case studies, access to seminars and webinars on topics such as health and wellbeing at work, staff engagement, organisational development, raising concerns at work, equality and diversity, and support on all Human Resource issues.

Health Minister Dr. Cortes believes the GHA will benefit greatly from ‘being able to call on the experience and expertise of NHS Employers’. He added that ‘Access to resources and advice from such an organisation will greatly assist the work that [the GHA] do to improve staff issues, with clear benefits for what [they] do for patients and other service users.’

Visiting Gibraltar to secure the link Director of Employment Relations and Reward of the NHS Employers, Gill Bellord insisted that staff are the most important asset for a health service. The link aims to provide practical support ‘on all aspects of managing human resources.’
