Local writer and poet Rebecca Faller has had one of her poems performed at the R S Thomas Literary Festival in Aberdaron, Wales, over the weekend.
The Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia have held a number of political meetings in London throughout the day. This follows the EU Referendum last week in which Gibraltar voted overwhelmingly to remain.
Gibtelecom will be carrying out essential maintenance works on its 3G mobile network on Thursday 30 June 2016. The works will commence at 12.30am and are expected to be completed by 5am.
The organisers of the Ocean Village and Boatshed Yacht Rally want to use the event to put Gibraltar even more firmly on the global travel map. They are doing this with a social media photo competition open to everyone on the planet.
Following an investigation into a Burglary reported in April of this year involving the theft of a motorcycle, officers from the Crime and Protective Services Division yesterday arrested three individuals.
A 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested in the early hours of the morning yesterday on suspicion of Theft, Assault on Police and Setting a Dog, by uniformed officers investigating a report of a theft of a handbag belonging to an elderly woman in the area of Glacis Estate.
Two local men and one juvenile have been charged with Burglary following a CID investigation.
