Tomorrow sees the first move of this year’s Gibraltar Masters at the Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival. This is the 14th edition of the annual festival which will see over 250 players from 58 countries battle it out over two weeks at the Caleta Hotel. The total prize fund for this year is £185,000.

Mr Speaker,
I beg to move that the Bill for a European Union Referendum Act 2016 be read a second time.
Mr Speaker a Bill of the same name was introduced in the House of Commons on 28 May 2015 in order to provide the basis for the referendum on whether the United Kingdom would remain in the European Union. That Bill was presented by the Conservative Government in fulfilment of its manifesto commitment at the last General Election.
