Apr 16 - Deputy Chief Minister's Tribute to Charles Bruzon
The Deputy Chief Minister and Leader of the Liberal Party, Dr Joseph Garcia paid the following tribute:
“Charles Bruzon was a colleague and a friend. He was a good man. I had the pleasure to have known him for many years before he became involved in politics.
“My enduring memory of him will be the way he embodied all that was best in human nature, his integrity, his honesty and his desire to help everyone who came to him with a problem. I was privileged to experience this with him closely, both in Opposition, since he was first elected to Parliament in 2003 and then since December 2011 in Government as well.
“Charles was a people person. He would go out of his way to help others. This philosophy was rooted in his Christian values which were so important to him. I know that he will be sorely missed and I take this opportunity to express my most sincere condolences, and those of my wife Penny, to his wife Marilou, to his sons Louis and Philip and to all his family.
May he rest in peace.”
