June 10 - Albert Isola To Stand For GSLP
The lawyer and former GSLP House of Assembly member Albert Isola has been selected by the executive committee of the GSLP to stand as a candidate in next month’s by-election. The decision still needs to be approved by the party’s membership at a meeting later this evening.
Mr Isola was a member of the then GSLP opposition between 1996 and 2000 and was one of six candidates considered by the party’s executive.
If confirmed, Mr Isola will face the GSD’s Marlene Nahon and the PDP’s Nick Cruz in a vote on July 4th to fill the seat vacated after the death of Charles Bruzon.
