July 02 - Picardo's Letter To Voters Urges Them To Choose Isola
The following letter has been sent by GSLP Leader Fabian Picardo to voters ahead of Thursday’s by-election urging them to vote for their candidate Albert Isola. The letter reads as follows:

Go Out To Vote For Albert Isola On Thursday 4th July
It seems like only yesterday that we were all celebrating winning the election in December 2011. We achieved this by working together to break Mr Caruana’s and the GSD's 16 years in power to start delivering on the change we promised.
Our dear friend, Charles Bruzon was an important part of that election winning team. He was a respected and loved member of our political family. He was in many ways an inspiration to all of us and his absence is a painful and difficult vacuum in all our general meetings.
It is not possible for us to replace Charles, but we must continue our work for Gibraltar. We owe it to his memory to ensure that we do our utmost to replace his lost seat with another member of the GSLP family.
In Albert Isola we have a man that has been involved with our socialist family since 1986. A person with an acute sense of social justice that has been successful in business and who has proved himself in politics. Albert is now standing to join our already strong team and work alongside us as a Minister to deliver the promises to you set out in our manifesto.
It is not possible for the GSLP to retain Charles' seat with Albert without your support. We need your vote. Albert and all in the team are already grateful beyond words for the incredible support given to us during the campaign. But all of this will be to no avail if you do not go and exercise your right to vote for Albert Isola on the 4th July 2013.
By voting for Albert Isola you will make your GSLP/LIB Government stronger and maintain the seat vacated by Charles as a socialist seat!
