Oct 30 - Finance Centre New Website
The Finance Centre Department launched its website in London during the Financial Services lunch held in The Guildhall as part of the Gibraltar Day in London events. The team had been working to ensure delivery on this day for some time and were delighted to have gone “live” at 1.00pm London time last Monday 21st October.
The web site, which is accessed via the following link, www.financecentre.gov.gi, provides both industry partners and prospective clients of Gibraltar with a wide range of information on the key areas of finance centre activity. The website had been the subject of discussion with the Finance Centre Council who welcomed and eagerly awaited its launch.
Minister for Financial Services, Albert Isola, commented: "The launch represents the completion of the first phase of the development of the site. The significant additions that come with implementation of phase two, now well under construction, provides a final product that will be world class. This web site, strongly promoting Gibraltar as the financial services centre of choice, is further testimony to the absolute commitment of this Government to grow Gibraltar further as a financial services centre. I encourage everyone to explore the site and circulate it among their own colleagues and clients".
