The Opposition say it is concerned at the length of time it is taking Government to publish findings and come to concrete conclusions over the future of many key areas of domestic policy, which, it claims, the Government “has kept secret so far.“
Minister for Tourism, Public Transport, Commercial Affairs and the Port, the Hon Neil Costa MP will be taking part in several high profile events in connection with the celebrations of Gibraltar Day in London.
On Monday 21st he will host a ‘Maritime and Tourism’ breakfast at Trinity House for leading representatives of the two sectors. At this event, his speech will examine Gibraltar’s performance in these areas over the past year.
The Government has said that the latest statement by the Opposition regarding criticism of Mr Feetham on Facebook is a “feeble attempt to turn the tables after he has put his foot his foot in it.”
The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, has visited Sacred Heart Middle School at the invitation of Year 7 children who had been studying the 1967 Referendum as part of a school-wide local history initiative. He then took questions on the Referendum and on how the political process works in Gibraltar. Mr Picardo gave the children a unique insight into how local politics functions.
