The Gibraltar Pro-Life Movement says a "record number" of pro-life supporters attended this week's Night Watch.
A spokesperson said: "The attitude of the attendees becomes more and more buoyant each week. A small presentation was made on the 1959 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child which requires that legal protection must be provided to children "before as well as after birth".
"This chimes with the Gibraltar Pro-life Movement's aspiration that any reform in the law should recognise the pre-born's indisputable right to life.
"The Night Watch was visited by His Excellency the Governor, General Edward Davis, who enquired as to progress and was particularly interested to hear of the efforts to ensure guidance, support and assistance to women faced with unwanted pregnancies."
