Careers Fair 2024: Mark Your Calendar for a Day of Career Discovery and Opportunities

The Careers Fair is set to take place on Thursday 28th November 2024 at the MUGA, Bayside Sports Complex. This year’s event aims to foster stronger collaboration between industries and provide an extensive showcase of career opportunities across various sectors.
This collaboration between theMinistries of Employment, Youth, Education, Personnel and Development, the Chief Secretary’s Office, and the CIPD Gibraltar branch aims to provide students and the public with comprehensive career insights.
Year 9s Exclusive Session: A Focus on Early Career Choices
We are excited to announce a dedicated session for Year 9 students from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. This exclusive slot is designed to help students as they prepare to make critical decisions regarding their GCSE subject options. The Careers Fair will offer them valuable insights into various career pathways, giving them a unique opportunity to explore different industries and better understand their future choices.
Highlighting Training and Development Opportunities
In addition to showcasing careers, we are keen to feature associations that offer training, apprenticeships, or professional development opportunities. These are crucial for students and attendees seeking guidance on how to pursue or advance their careers.
Event Schedule
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: The fair will be open exclusively to Year 9 students, providing them with the chance to engage with industry professionals and gain early career insights.
- 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM: The fair will open to all other students and the general public, offering a valuable opportunity for students, families, and the wider community to explore career options and engage with professionals across various industries.
