May 12 - Gibraltar Museum Open Day
The annual open day of the Gibraltar Museum will be this Saturday, 17th May, from 10 am until 6 pm. The day is aimed to coincide as closely as possible with International Museums Day (the 18th) and this year’s theme is “Collections make Connections”.
The staff at the Gibraltar Museum will be at hand to show the work that the museum undertakes and, as in previous years, there will be a range of hands-on activities. This year’s fancy dress competition for children will be themed around the First World War although alternative themes will also be accepted.
