Jun 02 - Celebrity Silhouette Makes Inaugural Cruise Call
The inaugural call of the Celebrity Silhouette cruise ship to the port of Gibraltar took place recently, as part of Celebrity Cruises’ programme of scheduled visits to the Rock.
At a reception on board to mark the occasion, commemorative gifts were exchanged between the vessel’s captain, Anastasios Lekkas, and the Gibraltar Tourist Board and Port Authority representatives.
The ship’s agent, Incargo, said that both the Eclipse and Equinox, sister ships to the Celebrity Silhouette, will be making further scheduled calls to Gibraltar during the year.
