Aug 08 - Superman Takes on Gibraltar Rock Race

Man of Steel actor and Royal Marines Trust Fund Ambassador Henry Cavill will take some time away from filming the ‘Batman v Superman’ blockbuster this October to participate in the Gibraltar Rock Run, which will raise funds for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust whilst also celebrating the 350^th anniversary of the force.

Henry Cavill has even launched his own JustGiving page in an effort to raise funds online. He said that he chose to support this charity ‘not only because of my obvious familial connection, but because of the deep respect I have for the Royal Marines as men and as a corps.

‘I am taking a short break from filming to run, with 350 other participants, from Casemates Square to the 1,300ft summit of the Rock of Gibraltar.’

Thus far, Mr. Cavill has raised £229.53, 1% of his target.
