Nov 17 - Exercise Rocky Sparrow This Wednesday
On Wednesday of this week, elements of HQBF and other agencies will be taking part in a routine exercise to test the MOD’s preparedness in the event of an incident at the nuclear berth.
As in previous years, this will include ‘real time’ scenarios which will take place on the South Mole and which may involve the sounding of the Evacuation Alarm. The exercise may also involve activity which the public may think is unusual. They should not be concerned: these exercises are conducted in order to ensure the MOD’s operational effectiveness.
