June 24 - Congratulations To The Special Olympics
Minister for Sports, Culture, Heritage & Youth, Steven Linares together with the Minister for Equality, Social Services & the Elderly, Samantha Sacramento have sent the following message to the Gibraltar Special Olympics in advance of the Summer Games which commence tomorrow.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of Gibraltar, we would like to publicly congratulate the Special Olympics Committee, helpers and volunteers for once again organising the Special Olympics Summer Games making them yet another success. It is thanks to their dedication and hard work that these Games have grown from strength to strength throughout the years. We wish all the participating athletes the best of luck. Without them, their sportsmanship, spirit and achievements the success of these games would not be possible.”
