Jul 08 - Dance Extravaganza Set for August

The Gibraltar National Dance Team has organised ‘A Dance Extravaganza’ to be held at the Ince’s Hall Theatre on Friday 30^th August 2013 at 8pm. Produced and directed by GNDO President, Seamus Byrne, the extravaganza will feature performers from both Gibraltar and Spain.

The event will act as a fundraising event in order for the National Team to be able to compete at the forthcoming World Show Dance Championships in November, and the World Ballet, Modern and Jazz Championships in December 2013.

The invitation to local and international schools has been extended by the organisers with local schools having the opportunity to offer a positive insight into the quality and high standard of dance that exists on the Rock.

Performing at the extravaganza are Art In Movement, Escuela Eva Sanchez from La Linea, Gibraltar Academy of Dance, Erika McGrail, Giovanna Lopez, Malaga Fresh, Mediterranean Dance Group, Latin Connections Dance Group, Show Dance Company, Stylos Dance Academy, Transitions Dance Academy, Urban Dance and Unity Through Dance.
