Christian Rocca will captain a Gibraltar Cricket Presidents XI versus a House of Lords & Commons XI this Saturday (7th December) at the Victoria Stadium.
The 40 over a side match commences at 11am and all are welcome along to watch some winter cricket from the stands.
Meanwhile the Presidents XI for the match has been named featuring players representing the great diversity of cricket in Gibraltar.
Christian Rocca (c), Mark Bacarese, Ross Brooks, Richard Buzaglo (wk), Stuart Cornelio, Ian Farrell, Lizzie Ferrary, James Fitzgerald, Iain Latin, Andrew Lee & Vickram Khatwani.
It is great to see a good cross section of players representing Christian Rocca’s Presidents XI with current internationlists in Latin, Farrell & Bacarese and our Women’s Vice Captain Lizzie Ferrary joined by former international player Richard Buzaglo, Gibraltar Cricket’s Secretary Stuart Cornelio, Ross Brooks from the staff and a representative of the Youth Academy in James Fitzgerald. Completing the line up is Andrew Lee, MD of William Hill Online in Gibraltar who is a big supporter of Gibraltar Cricket.
