Lions Gibraltar FC have signed up Juan Luis Perez Herrera as their head coach. This appointment was formally approved yesterday by the Board of the newly acquired Lions and the parties have agreed terms and signed a contract that will see Mr Perez lead Lions senior team in this year’s league, cup and hopefully if successful European campaign. Mr Perez, who is a UEFA qualified coach, with considerable experience, had previously led another local team to European success. He expressed confidence that given the resources in terms of current and future signings he would be able to achieve success, particularly given the depth of the youth programmes in Lions.
