Hot on the heels of last Friday’s acquisition by Hercules Sports Promotion, Lions are pleased to confirm the signing of a contract with Rafa Bado.
Lions Gibraltar FC have signed up Juan Luis Perez Herrera as their head coach. This appointment was formally approved yesterday by the Board of the newly acquired Lions and the parties have agreed terms and signed a contract that will see Mr Perez lead Lions senior team in this year’s league, cup and hopefully if successful European campaign. Mr Perez, who is a UEFA qualified coach, with considerable experience, had previously led another local team to European success. He expressed confidence that given the resources in terms of current and future signings he would be able to achieve success, particularly given the depth of the youth programmes in Lions.
Gibraltar Amateur Athletics Association Junior athletes Zyanne Hook and Jessy Franco will be travelling to Eskilstuna, Sweden to take part in the European Athletics Junior Championships held from the 16th to 19th July, 2015.

Lions Gibraltar FC has confirmed that it has been acquired by Hercules Sports Promotion Ltd, a company headed by entrepreneur Andrew Flowers. Mr Flowers is also the joint owner of the club’s sponsors: local insurance company Enterprise Insurance Co PLC.
