May 08 - Hedgehog Security Launches Gibraltar Office
Last Thursday saw the official opening of Hedgehog Security’s new office in Gibraltar. Hedgehog Security is a leading UK and US Cyber security firm.
The opening party was held at the University of Gibraltar where their CEO Pete Bassill addressed the audience and demonstrated how easily he could break into a fully hardened and protected Windows 10 laptop.
Other members of the Hedgehog security team were on hand to demonstrate lock picking and other hacking techniques to the amazement of the guests.
“Protecting your data and IT systems is an absolute necessity in today’s world of growing cyber attacks. A 2017 Deloitte UK report predicts that 'distributed denial of service' DDoS cyber-attacks will enter the terabit era this year,” said Mr Bassill.
