Oct 24 - NatWest Gibraltar Raises Over £10k Following Charity Fundraising Week
NatWest Gibraltar has exceeded its £10,000 target following a week of fundraising events designed to support five local charities.
The week started off with 10 brave team members undertaking the Mediterranean Steps Challenge where they walked the arduous trail five times and ended the week with a Bubble Football tournament where six teams battled it out on the Europa Point pitch.
In between there was the Big NatWest Quiz where the bank hosted 90 colleagues, customers and friends, a fitness extravaganza led by Amanda Cid de la Paz and Sarah Baglietto and a competitive bake off, won by Lauren Bassadone, which was followed by a successful cake sale in the branch.
St. John’s Ambulance, Cancer Relief Gibraltar, Calpe House, Babysteps Gibraltar, and A Pathway Through Pain are all set to benefit thanks to the efforts of everyone, and Amanda Eccleston, who is Country Head, NatWest Gibraltar, when not in goal in the NatWest bubble football team, thanked everyone for their superb effort, including colleagues who organised the entire week and clients and friends who took part or donated to the cause.
