Nov 26 - Voter Turnout Down Over 10% Compared To 2011

According to the latest statistics released on the Gibraltar Parliament website, voter turnout is over 10% down compared to 2011.
By 4pm today, 8,232 (or 35.36% of the electorate) had cast their votes. However, four years ago, by the same time, some 10,180 (or 46.89% of the electorate) had already done so.
The polling station boasting the highest turnout so far is Station No. 7 which covers voters in the Westside Area and is located in the Brownies’ Hut in Canton House, Varyl Begg Estate - 46.34% of voters in this area have already made the trip to the polling station.
