Jul 01 - Government Says GSD Chairman Hasn't Answered Their Questions
01 July 2015
The Government notes that Trevor Hammond, the Chairman of the GSD, has failed to address the simple issue of whether or not he was aware that the Lloyd's Register Report he presented was prepared by a commercial concern.
A spokesman for No6 said: "It is such a simple question that his failure to address it speaks many more volumes than his response, which avoids the question. The public can now see how cynical Messrs Hammond and Feetham are being in their conduct of their misguided and politically self-serving crusade against LNG."
In a statement issued yesterday, Mr Hammond said his and the GSD's primary concern was the safety of Gibraltar.
