Jul 28 - Government: “Mr Feetham’s Allegations Are Proved To Be False”
28 July 2015
The Government says that, despite the Leader of the Opposition’s claims that an important letter from him to the Chief Minister had been leaked to GBC by either the Chief Minister or by his office, GBC “has emphatically denied that their source was No 6 Convent Place.”
Number Six says that, once again, “Mr Feetham has made a wild, unsubstantiated allegation which has proved to be utterly false and, not for the first time, he is left with egg on his face.”
A statement concluded: “Having made such inaccurate accusations which have been denied by both the Chief Minister and by GBC, it would now be judicious for the Leader of the Opposition to apologise. It remains to be seen whether or not he does.”
