Gibraltar has topped the list of the Huffington Post’s '10 Most Disappointing Destinations in the World'. Other places included are New York’s Liberty Island, Niagra Falls, seen form the US side of the border, Hollywood California, and Frankfurt Germany.

Commenting on Gibraltar blog writer Caroline Morse notes that Gibraltar is the worst of Britain and Spain, with a huge number of tourists packed into the small territory. She adds that long frontier queues, a dull rock, fake British pubs and wild macaques that prey on tourists are not worthy of a visit. Many commentators on the post have dismissed the author’s claims.
