New Book Of Stories ‘Between Light and Shadow’ Released
A new book of short stories by cousins Terence Moss and Vicky Bailey has been released. Titled ‘Between Light and Shadow, Volume One', the book contains tales that are described as “both haunting and familiar.”
Speaking to YGTV, Vicky explains the themes she explores in her stories: “My stories in Between Light and Shadow, like Terence’s, are set in Gibraltar or have a Gibraltar connection. They deal with diverse issues such as abortion, the effect of social media on the older generation, romance, the problem of motorists in Gibraltar, children who have never met their parents and people who return to the Rock after many years. There is also a dystopian story and one inspired by the RFA Bedenham explosion in 1951.”
Terence says: “My stories are all dark tales woven into a setting of a familiar place in Gibraltar. They are mostly supernatural stories inspired by my favourite author Stephen King and sci-fi series like the Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone of the 1960s. Since retirement, I have been doing creative writing as a hobby and I am working on a series of science low fantasy novels, which I self-publish. I am science trained and this is my first venture into creative writing. It has been a long learning process.”
The book is on sale at BookGem and at The Gibraltar Heritage Trust Bookshop and online via Amazon.
