Moroccan Pensioners Advised Of New Travel Arrangements

The Ministry for Relations with the Kingdom of Morocco has issued guidance for Moroccan pensioners receiving Gibraltar Old Age Pension benefits, outlining new travel requirements linked to the implementation of the Gibraltar treaty arrangements and alternative options for receiving payments in Morocco.
A statement from the Government follows below:
The Ministry wishes to draw the attention of Moroccan pensioners in receipt of Gibraltar Old Age Pension benefits to the attached information notice regarding changes to travel arrangements arising from the implementation of the EU–UK Treaty arrangements in respect of Gibraltar.
The notice has been prepared to provide practical guidance on the new travel requirements that may apply when visiting Gibraltar and to explain the alternative arrangements available for receiving pension payments directly in Morocco.
Pensioners are encouraged to read the notice carefully and, where appropriate, make the necessary arrangements well in advance of any intended travel.
The Ministry remains committed to ensuring that all pensioners continue to receive their entitlements in a secure, efficient and convenient manner. Those requiring further assistance are invited to contact the Department of Social Security using the details contained in the attached notice
