In aid of charity, former Emmerdale actor Dan Coll is set to travel from Yorkshire to Gibraltar, on only a tank of petrol and £10. The Mirror reports that the actor will see the support of a number of other celebrities on the journey, including actor Dan Carey.

Funds raised from the drive, which will be carried out in a 1960s Land Rover in 10 days, are being donated to the Samaritans. Celebrities will attempt to earn money to reach another leg of the journey, by helping with a task. Other celebrities that will be involved include model Charlotte Dawson and EastEnders stars Cheryl Fergison and Melissa Suffield.

The trip will be broadcast on UK national television, next year.
